During the procedure, we will insert the titanium implant into the jaw. We will close up any openings and verify everything is in place.
Once complete, we will need to wait for the jawbone and implant to fuse in a process known as osseointegration. This can take several weeks to a few months. The amount of time will vary per patient. We will map out this process beforehand.
